IPL for freckles & pigmentation

Solar lentigines, also known as age spots or ‘liver spots’, are features of chronic sun damage. They are very common on the sun damaged face and back of the hands. Although they are due to sun, rather than age per se, they greatly contribute to an aged appearance. Fortunately solar lentigines are usually easily improved, with a combination of intense pulse light, or lasers including ResurFX. Usually two treatments give good results. After each treatment, the lentigines temporarily look a little darker, before sloughing a week later, and then the new skin has a more even and less aged appearance.
